Planning the wedding ...

With only 111 days until the wedding, I am frantically trying to finish my master's thesis so that I can focus on wedding planning ... not that I am sure what that entails. Thank goodness for Helen, my matron of honor, who has been hounding me to buy shoes (no, Helen, they will not be Jimmy Choo's). The dress is purchased and Gavin even gave his approval oohing and aahing and saying I looked like a princess ... and could he get some fancy prince clothes for the wedding?

Craig has been my rock. I have never met anyone so supportive in my life. He drives to Pullman every Wednesday to spend time time with me so we don't have to go the whole week without seeing each other. He is equal parts motivating and relaxing, always knowing what I need. I feel so grateful to know that soon he will be my husband.

But never fear, anytime I start getting too mushy about the whole thing he says something completely charming. Recently it was(while looking lovingly into my eyes), "Kaci, do you realize that in less than four months ... you will be my property?" Thanks, love. He also keeps asking if we can put "obey" in my vows. No, love. That will definitely not be in the vows.

Invitations are in the works ... all this wedding stuff is so time consuming. For those who have not heard the details, the date is July 31, 2010 and the ceremony and reception will be held at the Davenport Hotel in downtown Spokane, WA at 5:30.

More details to come as we figure out what they are.
